UPDATE: CORNING NATURAL GAS CORPORATION’S MAXWELL COMPRESSOR STATION in the Town of Caton, NY has officially been activated. Currently 2 of the 4 Ariel JGT-4 Ultra Lean Burn Compressors are operational and capable of delivering 24MMcf/day into the Dominion Transmission, Inc. at Ryers Creek in the Town of Lindley, NY. The 2 remaining units should be operational by the fall of 2011. When operational the station will be capable of delivering 48MMcf/day into DTI. The station has room for a fifth unit which should be operational in the spring of 2012. The compressor station has been constructed in a state of the art building with advanced sound suppression construction and engine exhaust systems.
